Cops Called On Boy Selling ‘Ice Cold Beer’, Burst Out Laughing When They Look Closer At Sign

While many kids set up lemonade stands to beat the summer heat, one clever boy from Utah took a different approach—a stand selling “ICE COLD BEER.” But don’t worry, it’s not what you might think. Seth Parker, a young entrepreneur from Brigham City, Utah, caught his neighborhood’s attention with his unique setup right outside a local church.

Curious neighbors were initially concerned and contacted the local police after hearing about a boy selling “beer” on the street. Officers responded promptly to check on the situation.

When they arrived, the mystery was quickly solved. The sign, which boldly read “ICE COLD BEER,” actually had the word “root” written in smaller letters just above “BEER.” Seth was selling root beer, not alcoholic beverages!

The Brigham City Police Department shared the amusing discovery on Facebook, writing, “Yep, he’s selling beer… ROOT BEER, that is.” Seth’s clever marketing had definitely caught the community’s eye.

Since going viral, Seth’s “ICE COLD BEER” stand has been a big hit. According to his mom, Alexis Parker, he sold out quickly on opening day and is already planning his next round.

Seth’s playful branding brought smiles and laughter to many passersby. One Facebook user, Deedre Coy Petersen, shared how she bought out his entire stock and praised Seth’s sense of humor, suggesting he might make the word “root” more visible next time. Despite some puzzled looks from adults, everyone enjoyed the fun spirit of Seth’s stand.

This young entrepreneur’s creativity and lighthearted approach highlight the power of inventive marketing—no matter your age. Seth’s ability to bring joy to his community is inspiring and a wonderful example of youthful ambition.

As summer continues, we look forward to seeing what new ideas Seth Parker will come up with next. The “ICE COLD BEER” stand was just the beginning for this talented Utah boy!
