Ingredients:

Ingredient Amount
Pitted peeled peaches or nectarines 4 cups
Seeded orange 2 cups
Cranberries 1 cup
Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
Ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon
Ground nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon
Ground cloves 1/2 teaspoon
Granulated sugar 5 cups
Water 1 cup
Liquid fruit pectin 1 pouch (6 ounces)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Fruit Mixture: In a large, deep stainless steel saucepan, combine the peaches, oranges, cranberries, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Stir in the sugar and water, ensuring everything is well blended.
  2. Bring to a Boil: Over high heat, bring the mixture to a full rolling boil that cannot be stirred down. Stir frequently to prevent scorching. Once boiling, quickly add the liquid fruit pectin, stirring vigorously.
  3. Boil and Skim: Return the mixture to a full rolling boil. Boil hard for 1 minute, stirring constantly to evenly distribute the spices. Remove from heat and skim off any foam that may have formed.
  4. Jar the Jam: Ladle the hot jam into prepared jars, leaving 1/4-inch headspace at the top. Wipe the jar rims clean and apply the lids until fingertip tight.
  5. Process and Cool: Process the filled jars in a boiling water canner for 10 minutes. After processing, let the jars cool on a rack for 24 hours before checking the seals. Store in a cool, dry place.
