If you don\u2019t know Ratajkowski from her appearance in films, you may recognize her from Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams\u2019 music video for \u2018Blurred Lines.\u2019<\/p>\n

While some may find the recreations hilarious, it appears to have rattled Ratajkowski\u2019s cage, as she\u2019s asked the content creator to stop.<\/p>\n

But it seems as though Ratajkowski isn\u2019t keen on the satire.<\/p>\n

Barber said on the\u00a0Fitzy and Wippa<\/em>\u00a0radio show : \u201cI don\u2019t think Emily is a fan. That\u2019s okay, she\u2019s allowed to not love it. But she blocked me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ratajkowski has previously spoken about how she believes her looks have held her back professionally.<\/p>\n

She told USA Today: \u201cI\u2019ve gone in for roles and producers tell me I\u2019m too pretty to play a role. That\u2019s so crazy and frustrating. You can\u2019t get a part because they\u2019ve seen too many pictures of you being a model. It\u2019s an industry and people see what they\u2019ve seen before. It takes a lot for someone to take a risk on you.\u201d<\/p>\n

The model also discussed this in her book, \u2018My Body.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cIt had never occurred to me that the women who gained their power from beauty were indebted to the men whose desire granted them that power in the first place,\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThose men were the ones in control, not the women the world fawned over.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ratajkowski addressed the situation regarding Barber on her\u00a0High Low with EmRata\u00a0<\/em>podcast.<\/p>\n

This whole drama with Celeste has been blown out of proportion. In general, I find her to be really funny. But, [the] message I was trying to send to her was, \u2018I just don\u2019t want you to do this to me anymore,\u2019\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n

\u201c[I want] to be able to do my thing, whether that be writing about my terrifying experiences in an industry that doesn\u2019t protect women and young girls and femme-presenting people while also having a bathing suit line.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added: \u201cI was like, I\u2019m not giving her my consent for this joke anymore. It just landed at a specific time for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ratajkowski explained why she objected, concluding: \u201cWe really love to pick on female influencers like they are considered the trash, lamest, most cringe, most embarrassing people on the planet.<\/p>\n

\u201cI fundamentally find that to be sexist. Yeah, no s*** women want to be influencers \u2013 it\u2019s one of the ways that women have learned to be successful and make money. They\u2019re hustling.\u201d<\/p>\n

Barber has responded to the drama.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t like that I feel I can\u2019t do that as much, and yeah I do feel like I censor myself sometimes. But then other times I don\u2019t give a f*** and I operate from a place of already being canceled.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean good luck to them. You can\u2019t win. They hate what you do one day, then you\u2019re the greatest thing in the world the next day.\u201d<\/p>\n
